- The Furniture Centre, is a family business established in the
late 50's by Norman Tempest in a small shop on Chapel Hill, Morley.
After a successful first few years, the company expanded through
several shops in the Morley area until it settled at its present
location on Queen Street. During this time DFS not only became
Morley’s biggest furniture store but also one of the largest and
most successful in Leeds. Robert Tempest, Norman's son and Chairman
of the company has taken the business forward with the help of
his son Richard, who is the Managing Director. The company provides
a professional service that is second to none and has a successful
and long standing history
